Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department. You will be responsible to receive, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products within the underground warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Efficiently receive, sort, and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined storage locations;
- Process reservations and work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute to customers as requested;
- Work closely with all departments, providing a high level of accuracy in customer service;
- Regularly review and determine optimal bin locations for new and existing material as needs arise;
- Record inventory transactions in an accurate and timely manner;
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for people; maintaining a high level of housekeeping;
- Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method;
- Open bales, crates and other containers;
- Record amounts of materials received or distributed via SAP/JDE;
- Perform physical inventory counts to ensure warehouse accuracy, and investigate any discrepancy;
- Operate mobile underground equipment as needed, including RTV, forklift, Toyota carrier, and boom truck;
- Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
What You Need To Succeed
- High School Diploma;
- Familiarity with email management and using a computer;
- Prior experience with SAP/JDE is considered an asset;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 7/7 schedule (rotating days and nights) at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
