The finance business partner for ADS&T will support the management accounting function for the specific area. Key contact points will be through the finance function and the ADS&T Operations function. The role will involve assisting with bid reviews, reporting, budget forecasts, and financial analysis. The role reports directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
Your purpose:
- Assist with accounts, budgets, and quarterly forecasts, along with commentaries & associated reporting.
- Provide pricing and bid support to Project Managers & Directors, including assisting with the creation and integrity of bid models.
- Monthly- Assist with consolidating and reviewing accounts, reconciliations, reporting, and glide path analysis, cashflow planning, and lock-up management.
- Quarterly- Assist with quarterly forecasts and associated reporting and engage with capacity planning.
- Annually- Support the preparation of audit documentation, Cabinet Office returns, and Factbook submission.
- Provide finance support and review of investment proposals.
- Work with the ADS&T Finance team and Operations Manager discussing and advising in tactical decision making.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team, ensuring internal operating procedures are adhered to.
- Support ad hoc projects and help the Senior Finance Business Partner.
What you can bring:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Knowledge of AtkinsRéalis’ finance processes, standards, and systems will be advantageous.
- Business partnering experience is preferred.
- The role may require occasional travel.
- Commercial knowledge and business understanding.
- Strong technical accounting skills & knowledge and Excellent Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of tax and compliance matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable in interacting with operational and financial staff and management at various levels of seniority.
- Good communication and influencing skills and Collaborative approach.
- Attention to detail while being able to work at a tactical level.
