Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on warehouse reconciliations, monthly freight rate and cost forecasting, and trend and improvement opportunity analysis in freight, fleet, and warehousing cost positions. This role will report to the Global Logistics Manager and collaborate closely with Operations, SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning), and Procurement to facilitate overall optimization of cost positions for related subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct global warehouse reconciliations to ensure accuracy in inventory and financial records.
- Develop and maintain monthly freight rate and cost forecasting models.
- Analyze trends and identify improvement opportunities in freight, fleet, and warehousing cost positions.
- Collaborate with Operations, SIOP, and Procurement teams to optimize logistics and cost positions.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on logistics performance and cost analysis to management.
- Monitor and evaluate logistics processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Support the Global Logistics Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- Proven experience in logistics analysis, warehouse management, and cost forecasting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, SAP, TM, PowerBI ).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a global logistics environment.
- Knowledge of SIOP processes and procurement strategies.
- Familiarity with freight and fleet management.
