Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, you will be part of the Security Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Control access to establishments using access control technology, and operates security control room equipment
- Conduct patrols of assigned areas to guard against theft, vandalism, fire, and trespassing
- Ensure all Agnico Eagle’s safety rules, regulations, and policies are being followed by all personnel
- Complete reports by recording observations, completing incident reports, conducting interviews, and investigations as directed
- Inspect and adjust Security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and detect evidence of tampering
- Issue passes and direct visitors as needed
- Conduct of Security screening of all personnel and vehicles as required
- Control and monitoring of CCTV systems
- Other duties as assigned by supervision as operations require
What You Need To Succeed
- Minimum High School Diploma, if not, an equivalency
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid G Class Ontario Driver’s License with clear driver’s abstract
- Standard First Aid / CPR
- Good spoken and written communication skills are required
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days off at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON
