Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Reliability Specialist who is part of the Maintenance department and collaborates with other departments of the mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment. Your task will be:
- Optimize and implement preventive maintenance plans;
- Monitor oil samples of the fleet;
- Schedule preventive replacement of benchmarked components;
- Update the prediction report;
- Be responsible of various optimization projects for the Maintenance department;
- Support the Reliability Specialist in different tasks.
What You Need To Succeed
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field;
- Mining experience is an asset;
- Underground experience is an asset;
- Being autonomous and proactive are both very valuable.
- Must be a quick learner.
- Organizational skills are required.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment is an asset;
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken;
- Must have strong interpersonal, communication and team building skills.
Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
